Wouldn’t it be nice if all of your shopping (and your gifts) came from local artisans?

It’s the holiday season and as a small business ourselves, we love to give some love to small businesses and encourage people to shop with them. Why? Because we know every small business represents hopes and dreams, well-made products and attention to quality over quantity. Plus, you get to know the actual business owner and maker when you shop small and shop local. Here’s our roundup of Holiday Artisan Markets that we find to be In Good Taste:

A Paris Street Market: Rue de Noel
November 17-18, Douglas County Events Center,  500 Fairgrounds Rd.
Shop for vintage and antique gifts at this indoor Christmas Market.

Denver Christkindl Market
November 17-December 23, Skyline Park at 16th St. Mall and Arapahoe St., Denver
Shop at an outdoor market inspired by the traditional holiday markets in Germany, complete with German goods and food plus a beer garten. 

Holiday Artisan Markets
Enjoy baked goods galore, such as the traditional Stolen bread at many holiday artisan markets.

Sugar Plum Bazaar
Nov. 18-19, Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, 7711 E. Academy Blvd., Denver
There’ll be around 130 vendors from Colorado and other states, selling their wares that are 95% handmade or vintage. Register for a free admission ticket, online. 

Friday Night Bazaar
Fridays, December 24-December 8, 1717 E. 39th Ave., Denver
Come party with us at the Friday Night Bazaar to experience a vibrant market filled with outstanding local shops, creative and delicious food, local cider, wine, and spirits with live music that will transport you to another place and time.

Horseshoe Market
November 25 & 26, Masonic Temple, 3550 Federal Blvd., Denver

Sweet William Holiday Market
December 2-3, Northfield Events Center, 8371 Northfield Blvd., Denver.
Shop from a variety of artisans and collectors, enjoy live music and food vendors, and learn more about non-profit organizations.

Denver Holiday Flea
December 1-3, Sports Castle at 1000 Broadway, Denver
Shop from a variety of all things craft: waxed canvas totes, teak cutting boards, jewelry and more. Enjoy seasonal cocktails, food trucks and groovy background tunes.

Horseshoe Holiday Pop Up Shop
During the month of December, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, 7244 W. Bonfis Lane, Lakewood
The Horseshoe Market will have a retail “pop up” store in Belmar for the month of December. Shop from a collection of 50-60 local makers, artists and vintage vendors work for sale. There will also be a ‘warming station’ for skaters and shoppers, coffee, hot cocoa, lounge area with TV, Santa and more.

Jackalope Denver
December 9-10, McNichols Building, 144 W. Colfax, Denver
Meet more than 150 local artisans in a unique, curated shopping experience featuring the top trendsetting makers and designers of local goods. Donations and Bar Proceeds will be benefitting Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies. 

Firefly Handmade Holiday Market
December 16-17,  Embassy Suites Hotel Ballroom,  2601 Canyon Blvd., Boulder

Enjoy live music while shopping more than 80 artisans selling home goods and décor; jewelry and accessories; adult and children’s fashion; skin care; ceramics; art; artisanal food; paper goods, and more.

Horseshoe Holiday Market at Belmar
December 1617, 7244 W. Bonfis Lane, Lakewood
During these two dates, specifically, there will be 
gifts from over 70 local vendors. Family friendly and dog friendly.
