Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards is searching for the nation’s most glorious appetizer recipe to pair with its Gloria Ferrer Sonoma Brut and will pay $5,000 to get it. The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar is offering a sweet treat for fans of Frozen the musical. Through October 1, guests that attend Disney’s new Broadway-bound musical Frozen can present their ticket to The Corner Office + Martini Bar and receive complimentary Frozen themed macaroons with the purchase of a cocktail. To celebrate the Denver debut of the musical, the restaurant will also be featuring Frozen themed cocktails plus cotton candy, Olaf’s Lemonade and more.
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse is celebrating its 20th year with a special menu running through September 5. The special menu includes dishes like Bacon Au Poivre, Filet Mignon, Sautéed Mushrooms and Hazelnut Budino. The cost is $97 a person, playing off the year 1997, the restaurant was established. Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar Be treated to innovative cocktails, listen to great music, and have a chance to win two Depeche Mode tickets. At the MIXT&PE event, two bartenders choose 2 music albums, narrow it down to 2 songs from those albums and develop new cocktails based on the songs and artists.
Front Forty Foods has launched its first high-tech grab ‘n go food concept at Stanley Marketplace, providing healthy meals for busy people in an innovative way. The kiosk at Stanley, located near the northeast corner of the building, is stocked daily with high-end, healthy, handcrafted meals and fine foods prepared at a commissary kitchen just a mile away. Patrons browse a big-screen menu, learn about each option’s ingredients, and pay for their selections with a credit card.

Great Divide Brewing’s newest Local Knowledge series beer, White Stout, will release noon. The fifth beer of the Local Knowledge series is a spiritual companion to a black IPA that comes in at 7.1% ABV. This white stout will have you questioning your own assumptions. While the beer pours a nice golden hue, it has all the flavor and aroma characteristics of a stout. Using coffee and cocoa instead of malt allows for the roasted and chocolate flavors and aromas to come through without adding any color.
