Colorado sure knows how to do up Halloween right. And we know how to celebrate the bounty of the season with Harvest-themed events too. In fact, there were so many Halloween & Harvest Happenings that we found to be In Good Taste, we gave them their very own roundup.

Ongoing Halloween & Harvest Happenings

13th Floor Haunted House runs through Nov. 14 on select dates. This year’s haunting experience begins inside The Stitchworks: House of Reanimation where a scientist known as The Pharmacist has abandoned all limits in his pursuit of perfection.  

Bewitched & Bubbly at Call me Pearl serves up a sparkling Devil’s Matinee cocktail and Midnight Catch tuna tacos as part of their Halloween celebrations, Oct. 26-31.

Casa Boonita at Casa Bonita is a celebration of Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos through Nov. 1. Dress up in costume (guidelines apply).

Films, Lights & Frights Overnight Package at The Maven includes a lineup of classic scary and campy Halloween movies plus assorted candy and hot pizza delivered to your room from Denver Milk Market.

Freaky Friday Fright Night Flicks are back at Little Man Ice Cream. Every Friday, join them in the LoHi back amphitheater for free family-friendly flicks under the starts. There will be a film short before the headlining feature such as “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” plus free popcorn for your movie-night snacking. 

Ghosts in the Gardens at Denver Botanic Gardens runs various dates Oct. 9-31. Hear the eerie history and unsettling tales after hours from storytellers who share staff experiences, security guard encounters and more in the place formerly known as “The Boneyard.” Step inside the historical Waring House for an exclusive glimpse into the Beaux-Arts mansion and secrets it may still hold. 

Glow at the Gardens at Denver Botanic Gardens runs Oct. 15-18 and 21-24. Wander through the gardens along an illuminated path to see landscapes animated by hand-carved pumpkin displays and live performers. New this year, the event is divided into three color-coded, one-way paths that can be explored in any order. Get tickets early because it sells out every year.

Halloween BOO-runch at The OG, is available Oct. 26-31 with Matcha Latte Pancakes, a Monster French Dip and Bloody Spiked Soda. 

Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns at Hudson Gardens runs through Nov. 1. See thousands of hand-carved pumpkins including a nautical sea-scape, a pirate ship, dinosaurs, dragons and others.  

Monster Sundae at Little Man Ice Cream locations is around through the end of the month. It starts with the ice cream of your choice, then piled with hot fudge, green whipped cream, spooky sprinkles, gummy eyeballs, a gummy mouth and gummy worm arms.

Moorwood Manor: An Immersive Gothic Thriller starts as an evening of Victorian-style socializing that quickly takes a sinister turn in the character-driven immersive experience. It runs Oct. 15-18. 

Nightmare in Paradise at Adrift Tiki Bar runs through Oct. 31 with a Creepy Cocktail menu with names like Hollywood Demon, Husband Killer; Weekly Red Rum Wednesdays with classic horror films and a tie-in with the South Broadway Halloween Parade (Oct. 17) and Bar Craw (Oct. 24). 

Oktoberfest – The Denver Wiesn runs Oct. 16-18 and 22-25 at the National Western Center is an authentic Bavarian tradition with high-altitude Colorado fun. Enjoy family-friendly entertainment and artisan vendors selling savory local and imported German cuisine and beer. 

Poka Luna at Poka Lola Social Club transforms into a haunting Halloween pop-up featuring wicked potions, enchanting events and more. Kicking off Oct. 2, there will be special deals and events throughout the month including Tarot Tuesday or Tuesdays and Voodoo Vinyl Saturdays. Cocktails include the Holy Water with Cream Cheese-washed Reyka Vodka, Everything Bagel Seasoning, Dolin Dry and olive brine.

Puttshack has Halloween happenings and specials. Starting Oct. 8, sip a Caramel Appletini or PutterBeer; Oct. 13-29, kids eat free Monday-Thursday with a $30 minimum purchase; Oct. 31, get 25% off gameplay with code SPOOKYSZN and guests in costume receive 25% off food and beverage. 

Spooky Light Show at Water World lets people in by the carload for a drive-through experience of colorful Halloween light displays synchronized to music through your car radio. Enjoy pumpkins, ghosts and playful spooky scenes. It runs Oct. 8-30.

The Haunting is Steuben’s Halloween pop-up experience running through Oct. 31. The patio will be transformed with spooky decor, photo-worthy moments and a limited-edition cocktail menu.

The Last Dance at Sorry Gorgeous runs Oct. 15-31 on the rooftop bar transformed into an immersive, sophisticated Halloween pop-up, “The Last Dance.” Expect late-night DJ’s, themed cocktails and bites and a haunted ballroom experience. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

The Peach Crease Club transforms into “The Peach Scream Club” Oct. 6-Nov. 2 with a Southern Gothic theme. There’ll be seasonal cocktails, Tarot card readings, DJ’s, a pumpkin carving competition, dog costume contest and more. 

The Talking Dead explores Golden’s haunted history in a three-hour walking tour through downtown. Guides lead guests to encounters with six-to-eight ghosts from the city’s past, mixing immersive storytelling with a couple of pub stops. It runs Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 9-30. 

Victorian Death Experiences at the Center for Colorado Women’s History takes guests upstairs into the most personal quarters of the historic home to witness what experiencing death and mourning would have been like in the late 1800s. Don mourning attire and come prepared to attend a Victorian Wake.

Witch’s Brew Pancakes are served at The OG Oct. 26-31. It’s a stack of three Matcha Latte Pancakes layered with creamy coconut ube sauce, toasted coconut and powdered sugar. Then from Oct. 26-31, Halloween BOO-runch brings the pancakes, a Monster French Dip and Bloody Spiked Soda.

Witchy Wednesdays runs through Oct. 28 on The Grandview’s back patio, which is transformed into a spooky outdoor cinema for weekly screenings. See a variety of films and themed cocktails.

October 3
Littleton Brewing Company Oktoberfest has live music, festbier tapping, Bavarian food, sausage sucking contest and limited-edition beers. 

October 9
FoCo Fall Fest returns for the second year in Old Town Fort Collins, Oct. 9-11 for a brand-new Friday Night Kickoff Concert, more than 100 local vendors, an outdoor bar, pumpkin painting and more.

Pumpkin Festival at Chatfield Farms happens Oct. 9-11 with a 10-acre pumpkin patch, Corn Maze, kids’ activities, live music from Colorado bands, bingo, wagon rides, carnival games and more. 

October 10
Beasts & Wonders Gala Ball is the year-long world of the Van Helsing Society for an evening of creature encounters, dancing, interactive exploration, live music, aerial and circus performances. It’s held at The Audacious Space.

Heritage Harvest in Larimer Square welcomes fall with pumpkins, fall photo opps, live local bluegrass, a literary gathering, candle making and more.

Kachina Cantina Sips & Sugar Skulls is held in partnership with Skulls by Adriana. Decorate a sugar skull while enjoying a house margarita. The event also happens Oct. 30.

FoCo Fall Fest continues. See Oct. 9.

Spooky Sweets Stroll at the Orchard Town Center is a free afternoon of family-friendly trick-or-treating plus a Macabre Market with local artisans. There’ll also be a live DJ, strolling performers, costumed characters, face-painting and carnival-style games.

October 14
Movie Night: Halloweentown at Number38 is a free event with an outdoor flick. Seating is first come, first serve. Bring a camp chair or picnic blanket. Click the link for a free RSVP.

October 16
Dark Victorian Tales 2026 (Night at the Museum) at the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys, is an evening of haunting literary entertainment. Enjoy dramatic readings of dark Victorian poetry and stories, vintage magic, music and more, featuring performers and works by Mary Shelley, Edgar Alan Poe and others). This event happens Oct. 16-17. 

October 17
Dark Victorian Tales 2026 (Night at the Museum) continues. See Oct. 16.

Haunted History Tour in Central City has guests wandering buildings that have stood for generations including the Central City Opera House, legendary Face Bar and portions of the Teller House and historic Masonic Lodge not normally open to the public. 

Pumpkin Harvest Festival at Four Mile Historic Park is Oct. 17-18 with a pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving and painting, a Fall Marketplace with local vendors, live entertainment and performances, food trucks, historic demonstrations and more. 

South Broadway Halloween Parade is an annual tradition with floats that drift down Broadway, made by real people, not typical advertisements. 

Tennyson Fall Fest celebrates its 11th year with more than 150 local businesses, breweries, artisans and food purveyors lining Tennyson Street from West 39th to 43rd Ave. There’ll also be live music, group yoga and a pet parade.

October 18
5th Annual Howl-O-Ween at The Golden Mill offers up a pet parade, live music, adoptable dogs, doggie treats and prizes for best dog and human costumes.

Pumpkin Harvest Festival continues. See Oct. 18.

Pumpkin Patch at Denver Beer Co. turns all five taprooms into a fall afternoon for pumpkin-picking and decorating plus beer drinking, of course. Ticket price includes a pumpkin, tools to decorate it and a beer. 

Pumpkins + Prosecco at Federales provides a pumpkin, carving kit, chips and salsa and bottomless mimosas for a $25 ticket. 

October 20
17th Annual Pumpkin Carve at Stoney’s Bar & Grill has $12 tickets that get you a pumpkin, carving tools and a seat. They’ll be serving pumpkin beers on tap and there’ll be spooky movies and music plus a stein-hoisting competition with Sam Adam’s Oktoberfest.

Halloween Music Bingo at Woodie Fisher is hosted by Geeks Who Drink. Combine favorite Halloween-themed tunes (sing along!) with bingo, food and drink. Costumes are encouraged. Tickets include one appetizer of your choice and two rounds of bingo. The full menu is also available throughout the evening.

October 23
Cruise Room Halloween Burlesque Show features a Halloween-inspired burlesque performance. Reservations are not required. 

October 24
Broadway Halloween Bar Crawl visits 28 bars and venues along South Broadway. 

Society of Seven: Halloween at Clayton, held at Clayton Hotel & Members Club, is the theme of the annual Halloween party with their take on a masquerade with an open bar, heavy apps, a DJ and costume contest. 

Spirits & Spirits includes Four Mile Historic Parks Bright Nights in addition to craft cocktails, haunted history through ghost stories and Victorian mourning practices, drag performances, a movie screening and more. 

Trick or Treat Street at Larimer Square is a family-friendly celebration with trick-or-treating on the block, collecting candy from participating Larimer Square businesses. There’ll also be a costume contest, fall activities and professional photo booth. 

October 25
Halloween Drag Bingo Brunch at Osteria Marco features Shirly Delta Blow and friends. There’ll be frightfully fabulous drag bingo brunch with bottomless mimosas, spooky costumes and plenty of tricks and treats. There are four seatings.

Hotel Boulderado presents Witches Brew Halloween Tea with an assortment of teas, tea sandwiches, warm scones, seasonal treats and sweets plus goodies for kids and cocktails for adults. Costumes are encouraged.

Scream Queens Brunch at Denver Milk Market is drag queen bingo brunch featuring a costume contest with great prizes, $20 bottomless mimosas and more.

October 27
Harry Potter Trivia Night happens at The Golden Mill with a DJ, costume contest and Halloween-themed drinks.

October 28
Apple Blossom hosts a Halloween Cocktail Making Class. Learn hands-on how to make a spooky drink using Bulleit Bourbon, then see what the cards have in store with a tarot reading and paint your own pumpkin to take home.

“Frankie Goes to Hollywood” is the latest Profs and Pints Denver event. Frankenstein and the 200-year-old history of a monster that keeps finding new bodies will be discussed with Andrew Scahill, associate professor of film and media at the University of Colorado Denver. Hear how Frankenstein led to stories like Pinocchio, The Iron Giant, Incredible Hulk, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and others. The event is held at Woodie Fisher Kitchen & Bar. 

October 29
BOOnion Station at Denver Union Station will be held inside the Great Hall and out on Wynkoop Plaza with a free, family-friendly event of trick-or-treating, mini-train rides, balloon artists, face painting and more. There’ll also be a costume contest with prizes.

Colorado Symphony Orchestra presents Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Oct. 29-31. See the film projected on the big screen while Danny Elfman’s darkly charming score played live by your Colorado Symphony. Costumes are encouraged. 

October 30
Adventure Time Bar hosts Costumes & Cocktails on Oct. 30 with DJ sets, festive drink specials and costume contests. Then on Oct. 31, it’s their 1st Annual Spooktacular with DJs, costume contests, magicians, tarot readers, flash tattoos, drink specials and a Fear Factor challenge area.

Halloween at 54thirty runs Oct. 30-Nov. 2 at Denver’s highest open-air rooftop bar. Enjoy globally-inspired bites, music, themed cocktails, tarot card readings, a caricature artist and panoramic mountain views. Cocktails include the Graveyard Shift, Black Mass and Blood Moon.

Boos & Bingo Halloween Bash at Lookout Bar Avon has rounds of bingo paired with spooks bites, cocktails and a costume contest with prizes.

6th Annual Motown Haunted Prom (A Halloween Dance Party) in Boulder brings a modern interpretation of the classic revue-style performances of classic Motown and Memphis Soul, featuring three vocalists including DZIRAE GOLD, Aleik Maddox, and Jon Oren.

Denver Zombie Crawl is Oct. 31-Nov. 1. The bar crawl map leads attendees to Halloween celebrations in LoDo & RiNo. Get free welcome shots at select venues.

Halloween at 54thirty continues. See Oct. 30.

Hard Bop Halloween at Nocturne with two sets of hard bop jazz with a Halloween twist. Add a three-course dinner and show alongside wine or N/A cocktail pairings. 

Live Music from Dad Bähd, a local cover band performs at Ace Eat Serve. As “Denver’s greatest dad band,” they’ll play classic rock, soul, funk and reggae. Play a round of pong, join in the costume contest and enjoy signature menu items like our favorite, the Tiger Wings. There’s no cover but reservations are suggested.
