On both lists, we’re in great company. On the list of 15 Best Denver Food Blogs, we’re listed along with 5280 Magazine, Westword, The Denver Ear, and Mile High Mamas to name just a few. Making these lists makes us feel all warm and happy inside thinking about how far the InGoodTasteDenver.com blog has come. As the Toast lists mention about us, the blog was first a newspaper column in The Denver Clarion, the newspaper of the University of Denver. In an effort to encourage all of the out of state and out of country students to venture beyond the immediate area around the campus, the column showed them many of the places, events, and restaurants that were available. The city has grown so much since then! The column grew in popularity and, after being a newspaper column in a few other regional city newspapers, became a blog in 2012.
Now, although we cover the entire state of Colorado (and surrounding areas), and not just Denver, we’re encouraging locals and visitors to get out there and see what awaits in the worlds of food, beverage, arts, culture and travel. While we write some feature articles and reviews, the big draw to our site is the monthly roundups of “What’s In Good Taste.”
As the In Good Taste Denver blog has taken off even more in the past few years, we’ve added additional ways for Colorado businesses to make a more meaningful connection with our readers.
