Waterloo Barrel Aged Gin has provided In Good Taste Denver with another great cocktail recipe. They tell us that this version is a reimagining of a classic bramble which normally uses London Dry gin. This version brings oak character and spice while still being fruit-forward. Our thanks to Waterloo for sharing this recipe.

Blackberry Bramble Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

2 oz Waterloo Barrel Aged Gin
1 oz fresh lemon juice
½ oz simple syrup
½ oz blackberry liqueur
Fresh blackberries (garnish)
Fresh sage (garnish)

Method:
In a cocktail glass, muddle 2–3 blackberries with simple syrup. Fill the glass with crushed ice, then add Waterloo Gin and lemon juice. Gently stir to combine. Float the blackberry liqueur over the top using the back of a spoon. Garnish with fresh blackberries and a sprig of sage.

The cocktail is bright and herbaceous with a touch of warmth, making it a fresh take on a classic that’s perfect for Father’s Day features, gift guides, or cocktail roundups.
