WHEN IS THE KEYSTONE WINE & JAZZ FESTIVAL?
July 15 and 16, 2023, 10:30am-5pm.
Insider tip: Sunday is a great day to go because there are fewer people at the festival. If you stay over Saturday night, you’ll have the morning free to sleep in, grab brunch, stroll, and take a hike. If you stay over Sunday night, you will avoid weekend traffic on I-70 and can breeze back to the city in time for any Monday morning meetings.

The fun is centered in River Run Village on quaint festival grounds.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE KEYSTONE WINE & JAZZ FESTIVAL?
Sample wines from hundreds of varietals from near and far, from Colorado and beyond. There are multiple ways to enjoy wine and food offerings (see below).
Live jazz is happening throughout both days of the festival from artists including the Tivoli Club Brass Band, Dotsero, The Jazz Spiders, Shaynaynay, Ron Ivory, and the No Hands Brass Band.
The River Run Village Grand Wine Tasting – Saturday and again on Sunday 1-5pm. See below for what happens at this event.
Wine & Jazz Food Vendors include Argentos Empanadas, Zuma Roadhouse, Mountain Melt Food Truck and Pizza on the Run.
Merchandise Vendors include Rocky Mountain Outback Hats, Love My Shawl and Treasures of the Vine.
Kidzone is available for the kiddos, with fun crafts including The Frosted Flamingo, sidewalk chalk art, free face painting, and the Cave of Confusion, an interactive maze. The Kidzone is nestled in between the Warren Station Stage and the Snake River so parents can still catch live jazz while crafting with their kids. Or take a reprieve from the busy festival grounds and enjoy shake from quaking aspen trees along the river.
Insider tip: When you want something else to sip, stop by the Freshly Squeezed Lemonade booth, which is run by a young local skier, Walker Robinson, who is raising funds for the Youth Olympics in South Korea.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND?
Free and a la carte options:
The festival is FREE to enter for all ages. If you want to have alcoholic beverages, you’ll be required to show your ID. They’ll stamp your hand at Festival Check-in to show you’ve been verified.
If you just want to buy a drink a-la-carte (and not participate in the festival tasting listed below) and enjoy the bands, there is an official festival bar selling canned beer, wine, and cocktails.
There are three Festival Pass options you can purchase:
- Grand Tasting Wine Glass ($80):
This is a wine-only pass and it’s for ages 21+ and available while supplies last. It gets you a commemorative glass, unlimited sampling of hundreds of wines at the River Run Village Grand Tasting. Food samples are NOT included. - Festival Food Pass ($30):
This pass allows you 5 gourmet food dishes from participating festival food vendors but does NOT include wine samples. If you want more food, re-load your pass to purchase more. - 2 Person Festival Package ($180):
This best-value option for two people age 21+ provides two commemorative glasses, unlimited wine sampling and three food options per person.

WHAT IF I DIDN’T PURCHASE MY TICKETS IN TIME BUT STILL WANT TO GO?
Feel free to still head up and enjoy the live music and a la carte beverages from the official festival bar. However, if you were hoping for the Passes, you’re encouraged to purchase those in advance because inventory cannot be guaranteed the day of the event.
Insider tip: It’s worth saying again – Sunday is the less-busy day to attend the festival. Same amount of fun, but fewer people.
