Larimer Square holds a special place in the hearts of the InGoodTasteDenver.com team. Being Denver Natives, we’ve spent a lot of time there over the years. A lot! We’ve seen restaurants and shops come and go – some of which we worked at. We’ve attended festivals faithfully (bring back the Bastille Day party!). And we regularly go out of our way to walk down the street under the canopy of twinkling lights. It’s a special place, year round. But Larimer Square holidays seem to be what Larimer Square was meant for – all the charm, history, romance and beauty of the season. Because of all this, we wanted to shine a light (a pretty holiday light), on the holiday happenings. To learn more about their holiday happenings, visit the Larimer Square website.

Small Business Saturday kicks off the holiday season in Larimer Square. There are more than 20 independently owned businesses on the square, including chef-owned restaurants, so support them. They’ll be running deals like free gift wrapping, merchandise discounts or free food or drink items when showing a receipt from a shop.

Take a free stroll in the Square, on a Window Walk between noon and 4pm to see local artists creating winter woodland-themed window decorations in shop windows. The finished windows can be seen through the New Year.
