There are three big festivals yet to come in Keystone, Colorado, and they take advantage of some of the most beautiful weather and mountain scenery of the year! In Good Taste Denver is proud to have partnered with Keystone Resorts and the Keystone Neighborhood Company all summer to bring you the best of the best of their event lineup. Here’s what you need to know to finish out summer beautifully!
Keystone’s Bluegrass & Beer Festival
When: Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 6, 2023
Where: Keystone Village in Keystone, Colorado
What: It’s one of the longest-running craft beer festivals in Colorado! Enjoy specialty brews, cider, and hard seltzer plus live music and food highlighting Keystone’s culinary offerings.
Highlights:
Beer Garden open 1-5pm both days – Beers, seltzers, wine and cocktails will be available to purchase a la carte. Participating vendors include Kickapoo Tavern, Steep Brewing Co and Mountain Melt Food Truck.
KidZone open 1-5pm both days – Free activities for kiddos including face painting, scavenger hunt, Frosted Flamingo crafts, Chalk Zone, and The Cave of Confusion.

Food galore from local restaurants, chefs, and vendors. The Festival Food Pass includes 5 tasty dishes from your choice of festival food vendors. Buy one to use yourself or share with someone. (MAJA, the “Learn More” link isn’t working) Vendors include Pizza on the Run, Mountain Top Cookie Shop, 5 Star Catering, Mountain Melt Food Truck, and Argentos Empanadas.
Shop Bluegrass and Beer Merchandise Vendors including Rocky Mountain Outback Hats, Atomic Child, Adventurist Soap Co., and Filosophy.
Unlimited Craft Beer Samples – This is a ticketed activity.
Tips:
Start the party early on Friday, August 4 before the festival weekend officially begins by enjoying a free concert in River Run Village or attending Eat, Drink, Pick: a Beer pairing with Breckenridge Brewery and Graze & Torreys.
The festival is free for all ages and includes all musical performances. If you don’t want to purchase an Unlimited Craft Beer Samples ticket or a Festival Food Pass, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food are available for purchase, a la carte.
Leave Fido at home because of crowd size and outdoor food booths. Service dogs are allowed with proper documentation.
Sunday is funday! We suggest coming up on Sunday because the crowds at the Festival will be less and the drive will be easier. Plus, you still get great music, drinks, food, and fun just like on Saturday. Consider staying overnight Sunday too, making for an easy drive back to the city come Monday morning.

Mountain Town Music Festival
When: Saturday, August 19, 2023
Where: Keystone Village in Keystone, Colorado
What: A culmination of summer fun with free live music and family-friendly fun. Enjoy concerts by Kevin Daniel & The Bottom Line and Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown.
The Salida Circus will be performing live and mingling with Festival-goers, including acrobats, stilt walkers, magicians and other acts.
Highlights:
There will be a bar to purchase drinks, face painting, and a photo booth. This year, they welcome back Conner Orchards out of Palisade, Colorado, who will be selling peaches and other fresh produce to celebrate the harvest season in Colorado.

Oktoberfest
When: Saturday, September 2, 2023
Where: Keystone Village in Keystone, Colorado
What: A Labor Day Weekend celebration for the whole family with fall craft beers served in beer tents, kids activities, concerts, polka performances and lessons, and Stein Hoisting Contests.
Highlights:
Commemorative Keystone Stein ($40 while supplies last) includes the Stein, 3 craft beers, and $5 refills. As an alternative, craft beers, wine, and cocktails will be available to purchase a la carte in the Beer Garden.
Food will be available for purchase for $5 each, from local vendors including Bighorn Bistro, Zuma Roadhouse, Rotolo’s Craft & Crust, and the Crepe Stand.
Free concerts from the Summit Concert Band and multiple performances by Those Austrian Guys
Kids’ fun including Polka Instruction just for them, a Kids Root Beer Hoisting Contest, and Kinderfest with free activities including facepainting, Cave of Confusion 3D Maze, family photo booth, and crafts.
Shopping from local vendors including Rocky Mountain Outback Hats, Keystone Inspired National Home Goods, B Fresh Gear and Hogback Farms.
