Balanced brewing shines, on this, our 9th day of the 12 Cheers of Christmas, at 4 Noses Brewing. Get social with us and this series! Follow and share #12CheersIGTD.
A short detour off Hwy 36 on the way to Boulder, 4 Noses Brewing is a happy find, especially for dog lovin’ beer drinkers. With a big, handsome tap room and huge outdoor patio (fire pit!), there’s plenty of room for folks to imbibe and let their friendly pooches make new friends. Food trucks, when visiting, provide sustenance. Warning: when events are scheduled at the nearby 1st Bank Center, the room gets packed.
For a unique seasonal beer, the beer tender suggested El Jefe. This Imperial Stout with Coffee and Cinnamon has a bold and complex taste. The brewers did a great job of balancing the flavors so nothing overwhelms, making it intense and satisfying. An alternative is their year-round crowd pleaser Raspberry Blond Ale; it’s pretty crimson color inspires a festive holiday spirit! (4 Noses cans are available in many liquor stores – watch for ‘em!)
Waaaaay south of 4 Noses is our 2016 choice for the 12 Cheers of Christmas, the first craft brewery to set up shop on the “Wickedest Street in America” left for a sedate new life in the burbs, click here to learn more…
