Colorado Gives Day is December 10 this year. What is the day all about? The Colorado Gives website says it best, so I’ll let it speak for itself:

Last year, Coloradans made an astonishing show of support for local nonprofits by donating $15.4 million in just 24 hours. A total of $15.7 million was distributed to the nonprofits, thanks to additional contributions from the FirstBank Incentive Fund and 36 cash prizes. Let’s see what we can do on Colorado Gives Day 2013!

That’s very cool, eh? You can choose any non-profit that means something to you. Search for them directly from the Colorado Gives website. But before December 10, you’ll likely be seeing lots of appealing pleas from organizations hoping you’ll donate to them. Colorado has so many wonderful non-profits – organizations that make life better, plain and simple. Donate to the one(s) that mean something to you – that enhance your life.

The Denver Botanic Gardens, one of our favorite places on earth has created a lovely video to try to persuade people to see the value in giving to them. We liked it and just wanted to share. If you have a non-profit that can benefit on Colorado Gives Day, send us your video link at InGoodTasteDenver@gmail.com.

Happy giving…
