On March 16, 2020, Mayor Hancock ordered the closure of restaurants and bars, except for delivery, for the next eight weeks because of Covid 19. Of course, this could be totally devastating for the restaurants and their staffs. To try to minimize the damage this will cause, a lot of area restaurants are offering delivery or carryout and gift certificates (which can be used now and when their dining rooms open again). Consider this a partial list of the restaurants out there offering alternatives in this difficult time. If you have a favorite restaurant, call them or check their social media pages to see what they are doing. Chances are, they are coming up with a plan to stay afloat and meet your foodie needs! Support the restaurant scene as best as you can so that they are there for you when this is all over! It does our hearts good to see how people are pulling together, getting resourceful, and doing their best to minimize the negative fallout.
This just in – according to several news sources, despite restaurants taking great precautions against it, packaging (including of non-food items like mail and other deliveries) can be contaminated. They advocate disposing of the packaging properly (recycle!), wash your hands, nuke the food, and then enjoy to prevent inadvertently bringing the virus into your home while you’re doing good by supporting these restaurants. *sigh*.

5280 Burger Bar is making their regular menu available plus a “Hot & Ready” Family Dinner each night for $9 per person. Call 720-887-5970 for details. Both locations are open for carry out and delivery daily from 11am-9pm. Their Westminster location as a “Hot & Ready” dinner program with a home cooked entree, side, and ice cream for $9 per person.
Annette in the Stanley Marketplace will be offering lunch and dinner takeout service for curbside pickup Tuesday-Sunday from 11am-7pm. Call 720-710-9975 or 720-710-9974. You can also order on-site once you arrive, and they’ll bring your food out to you. They are currently serving their very special Burger which they only do a few times a year!
Aracana Restaurants in Boulder are launching a sliding scale community meal service effective March 17. Meals available for takeout and delivery will have a suggested meal price of $20 for those who can afford it, and a sliding scale starting at $0 for all other menu items. Arcana will not charge a delivery fee and will not accept tips, but will accept a “staff support” fee to directly benefit all employees whose hours have been reduced.
Baba & Pop’s Handmade Pierogi (which just opened in Aurora about a week ago!) has frozen packages available right now but they are working hard to source more ingredients to prepare their takeout menu. Call 720-476-7183.
Bacon Social House is offering a free children’s menu item with the purchase of an entree when people pick up orders at either their Littleton or Denver location.

Bertha’s Baja Bistro, one of our favorite little neighborhood joints in East Denver, is apply a 10% discount to call-in orders. They’re serving their regular menu and will be serving brunch food Friday-Sunday, 10am-2:30pm. Call 720-216-5735.
Big Red F Restaurant Group, which includes Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar, Zolo Southwestern Grill, Lola Coastal Mexican and others, is offering new menus at all of their locations for pick-up or delivery. Check their restaurants’ websites and bigredf.com to see updated take-out menus, hours of operation, and promos and specials.
Bigsby’s Folly is offering all wine growler fill-ups to-go at 50% off until they reopen for regular business. If guests don’t already have a Bigsby’s 1 liter growler, they are available for purchase with a $5 refundable deposit. There is also a new, grab-n-go food menu. Boston Market has a free delivery offer on any online or app order via their website. They also have a deal for half of a Family Meal with the purchase of one at full price through March 21.
Cattivella in Stapleton is doing carryout Monday-Saturday, 3-8pm. They’ll deliver to the Stapleton area with a minimum of $75.
City, O’ City is offering free delivery and no minimum on orders within 6 miles of their restaurant. If you’re farther than 6 miles, they encourage you go call and discuss options with them.
Chef Zorba’s delivers via their website or you can call in. Pull up to their backdoor and give them a ring for non-contact takeout.
Chipotle is offering free delivery the rest of March.
Comal Heritage Food Incubator will offer soups from around the world to-go. There’ll be a different soup each week, one vegetarian and one non-vegetarian option. The soup will be sold in quarts for $12 with the option to add homemade bread for $4. Soup menus will be posted to social media the week beforehand and pick up days will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-5pm. The soups will be prepared by Comal’s Sous Chef Claire Wescott to limit exposure.Orders must be made and paid for online ahead of pickup here.
Comida is participating in the new Stanley To Go project (see more on that below), at their Stanley Marketplace location. They’ll have their food truck available for takeout from 11am-7pm starting March 17. They are also having a Mexican Market on the patio to clear the shelves on March 17, offering produce, salsa, black beans, tortillas, milk, eggs and other items. Credit cards only. Check their website for their favorite cocktail recipes on their website to help customers create cocktails while they hunker down at home.
Fooducopia has take out and delivery available for $3.99 delivery fee on a $12 minimum order. Call 303-722-7838 or go online for the menu and to order.
Freshcraft near Union Station, is taking orders from 11am-8pm daily and will post daily specials on their Facebook and Instagram.
Honey Baked Ham Co. has closed their dining room areas but carry-out service is still available in their stores. Lunch delivery is also available through Grubhub, Postmates, Doordash and Uber Eats. Or, shop online and items will be shipped, frozen, to your door.
J Street food truck is offering family meals packaged to go by pick-up or delivery effective March 17. All meals include a salad, entree, and cookies for 4-6 people for $35. Delivery is $5. Pick up and delivery will happen during specific hours.
La Rola Urban Colombian Food inside Zeppelin Station has “On My Way Home Meals,” three different family meals. Order in advance by calling 720-487-0008, stop by and they’ll bring it to your car.
Le Bilboquet has a new menu featured on their website with some signature dishes plus kids’ items for feeding the family. Available noon-8pm, visit their website for details, call 303-835-9999, or order on UberEats. GrubHub & DoorDash will be available later this week.
Le French will start carry out via Grubhub and Uber Eats starting March 31.
Monaco Inn Restaurant, a neighborhood staple for more than 30 years, is offering Greek food for takeout as well as Uber Eats and GrubHub.
Mr. B’s Wine & Spirits-Stanley Marketplace delivers. Call them at 720-531-6010, place your order and they’ll arrange for curbside pick-up at Stanley, or deliver it to surrounding neighborhoods ($30 minimum, $4.99 delivery fee). You can also use Drizzly, a spirits delivery app.
Next Door American Eatery is doing carryout at all of their locations, serving up burgers, salads, sandwiches, and a lot more.
Noodles & Company is to-go only as of March 17 plus delivery. They are also reducing their hours, closing at 8pm. Order online or with their Noodles Rewards App. You can also order inside, call ahead, or use DoorDash or Uber Eats.
Northside’s full menu is available and their market side is open for grab-and-go produce and pantry items. They’ll deliver within one mile or you can use Doordash.
Oblio’s Pizzeria is doing take out, including bottles of wine (uncorked per the rules) AND their popular balloon artist, Jeremy will be available to make fun surprises to take home to the kids. Bring some tip money!
Olive & Finch Eatery and Bakery’s two locations are offering limited-contact takeout or delivery from someon on their team or Postmates. No-contact delivery can also be arranged. Call 303-955-0455 option 4 for Cherry Creek or 303-832-8663 option 5 for Uptown.
Pei Wei is open for delivery and takeout but have closed their dining rooms. They encourage people to place orders through their app or website or through your favorite delivery partner. They have also reduced hours to 11am-7:30pm.
Postino WineCafe has their full menu available plus these deals: Date Night-In (board of bruschetta, one snacky thing and one salad) for $25 and the Kickback Pack (board of bruschetta, three snacky things and a cheese board) for $45. It’as available curbside and by Uber Eats with $0 delivery fee.
Sage Restaurant Concepts, a restaurant group, has created the Keep Calm and Carry Out initiative at Urban Farmer, Kachina Cantina, and The Corner Office, in an effort to collectively practice social distance while simultaneously raising money to help those most affected by COVID-19. Fourteen restaurants signed on to the program in less than 24 hours, including Hearth & Dram, Piper Inn, Steuben’s Uptown and Steakhouse No. 316 in Boulder (see below). In addition, participating restaurants will be making a $1 donation for every carry out order to Feeding America, an organization helping local food banks respond to COVID-19, serving families and vulnerable communities affected by the outbreak.

Snooze an AM Eatery is offering delivery and takeout from all of their locations including Provisions Neighborhood Packs of commonly-needed groceries, Cold Pressed Juice Kits, Booze Bundles, and Taco Tuesday Packs. Visit their website to get started. They are also starting a Snooze Virtual Brunch Party through the decades of music. Participate by ordering your choice of Snooze breakfast online via delivery or pickup. Each order will come with a “mixtape” (card), inviting you to join Snooze that weekend and hold your own musical, virtual brunch party. Stanley To Go is Stanley Marketplace’s initiative, launching March 17, 11am-7pm. Call ahead to your favorite restaurants and then go to the designated areas for curbside pickup only. Check their Facebook page frequently for updates.
Steakhouse No. 316 Boulder is now offering 20% off all menu items including their new, family-style takeout. They’ve also joined the Keep Calm and Carry Out initiative, and will be donating $1 of every carry out order towards Feeding America.
Steuben’s Uptown has curbside takeout and delivery. Call 303-830-1001, download the App or text Steuben’s to 33733 and receive 15% off your first order.
Sushi Den is combining favorites from its restaurant plus sister restaurants, Izakaya Den and Ototo Den into Den Corner curbside To-Go Menu. It’ll start off Sushi Den based until they figure out a system for all three restaurants. Meanwhile, enjoy hand-selected items from each, 11am-8pm daily including sake, beer and wine in their Den Corner’s “Patio Pickup” menu. Go online or call 303-777-0826 but they recommend calling early in the day for later-day curbside pickup. Owner, Yasu Kizaki was also kind enough to share some amusement, a teaser of his favorite Netflix Series, Midnight Diner.
Tacos Tequila Whiskey has curbside pickup and online delivery noon-6pm, daily. Buy $50 worth of gift cards and get $25 worth for free.
TAG Restaurant Group restaurants is offering take out at all locations for 20% off through the end of March. Call the TRG location of your choice to place your order and coordinate curbside delivery. There will be limited menus available at each restaurant.
The Abbey Tavern is offering pickup and delivery between 4-8pm. Their wings, BLT, and burger are some of our favorites in Denver. Call 303-321-5151.
The Preservery is offering free delivery to RiNo/Five Points starting March 17. Walk-up window service will be available on-site for carry-out. A revised delivery/to-go menu will be available as well as meal kit and heat-to-serve options. They’ll be expanding their delivery area soon so check back.
The Source Hotel + Market Hall vendors are pulling together to offer a variety of items, available curbside and/or by delivery. That includes Reunion Bread Co., Beet & Yarrow (flowers), Safta (regular menu plus new “Family Meal to Go” options, and Grabowski’s Pizzeria to name a few. Start with the Source’s website to get to the individual businesses you want.
Third Culture Bakery on E. Colfax has curbside pickup and delivery via Uber Eats for their Mochi Muffins and Uji Matcha so you can make your own Matcha drinks at home. This news came to us from our friend Bryant Palmer, Chief Storyteller at Stanley Marketplace. Shoutout to him for looking out for other restaurants beyond just those in his realm! Community is still alive and well thanks to actions like this.
West of Surrender is doing curbside pickup outside their doors on Glenarm. They’ll be live on Doordash and Grubhub soon. But they told us to tell you that if someone just calls the restaurant and is in need of delivery, they’ll figure out a way to do it.
Zeppelin Station has some inexpensive options that are available for delivery (see details on Smōk and La Rola above). The list includes OK Poke, Vinh Zuong, La Dona, and Dandy Lion Coffee. Visit the main website for specifics.
