Ace Eat Serve’s Lunar New Year Feb. 4-28 celebrates on their decked out, heated patio. A special dumpling menu, limited-time cocktail specials. Examples include the Handstand Prawn Dumplings and Pan Seared Baby Bao and the Year of the Horse cocktail. Reservations are strongly suggested.

Super Bowl Ambler’s Touchdown Box addresses all your Super Bowl spread needs for $75. The take-home meal includes 24 wings with two sauces, classic dips, baked mac & cheese, spinach dip with pita and churros with chocolate or caramel sauce. Add house margarita mix for $30 (add your own tequila). Boxes must be ordered 24 hours in advance to pick up Feb. 7 or 8. 

Ballet Ariel’s Little Women tickets are on sale now for the March 1 performance. It’s performed at The Schoolhouse Theatre. 

Black History Month at Dazzle brings a lineup of Denver’s finest artists plus touring performers, honoring the enduring influence of Black musicians on jazz and American culture. Performances include the Friday Lunch Bunch, Mile High Soul Collective, Throwback Friday: Sarah Vaughn and much more. 

NEWS Boulder Social has launched a Mug Club, a community built for beer-loving Boulderites. The year-long membership includes a 21oz mug, $5 Happy Hour beer pricing anytime, 10% off food every day, 1st crack at New Release Social Beer and more perks. 

Burning Bluebeard at the Dairy Arts Center retells the story of the tragic 1903 Chicago Iroquois Theatre fire from the perspective of the performers, mixing comedy, vaudeville, clowning and meta-theatricality. It runs through Feb. 21. 

Carnevale Menu at Jovanina’s Broken Italian is available Feb. 3-17. The four-course prix fixe menu for $75/person, includes buffalo milk burrata savory cannoli, porcini mushroom “cappuccino” soup, poached calamari and clam bucatini and a Venetian Carnevale cake. Wine pairings are available for $40 more. 

Cart-Driver LoHi has a new, daily happy hour with expanded hours. Menu items include a Negroni Flight for $11, market oysters for $3.50, cheese & honey for $8, cheesy bread for $10 and more. Happy hour runs 4-6pm Monday-Thursday and 3-5 Friday-Sunday.

Champagne Thursday at Cooper Lounge starts Feb. 5. There’ll be weekly half-price bottles of champagne all night, starting at 4pm. 

NEWS Chef Michael Diaz de Leon, Michelin-starred co-owner and Executive Chef of Molino Chido, is a contestant on a show called “America’s Culinary Cup” debuting March 4 and hosted by Padma Lakshmi. Contestants are all award-winning. The competition winner receives a $1 million cash prize, the largest prize in culinary television history.
Colorado Environmental Film Festival, Feb. 20-22, Online Film Encore: Feb. 23 – Mar. 1, features more than 60 films from around the world every year, pairing short and feature length films that aim to inspire, educate, and motivate people to protect and preserve the environment.

Colorado Garden & Home Show is Feb. 14-22 with celebrity designers Jenn Nawada (“This Old House” and UK designer Jo Thompson, plus hands-on plant workshops, show-only deals for homeowners and gardeners.

Comfort and Comedy Festival is a first annual event from Miners Alley Performing Arts Center, running Feb. 23-March 8 across multiple venues in downtown Golden. See nationally touring comedians, Broadway performers, family programming, late-night events and interactive workshops. 

NEWS Dear Emilia has officially opened. Located in Denver’s River North Arts District, it is created by the team behind James Beard-nominated Restaurant Olivia. The restaurant is a love letter to the cuisine of the Emilia Romagna region of Italy.

NEWS Denver Restaurant Week menus are live for the March 6-15, 2026 event. Participating restaurants will serve a multi-course dinner for $25, $35, $45 or $55.

Girl Dinner at Call Me Pearl, available throughout February, costs $33/person and features favorites including a fresh Caprese salad, crispy bacon fat fries, a lobster bisque shooter and signature Dirty Martini. 

Girl Dinner at FIRE in The ART Hotel Denver is offered every Thursday. For $45/person, and designed for two, enjoy a choice of a bottle of wine or martinis alongside charcuterie, a classic Caesar salad, crispy fries and dessert. 

Godspeed continues at the Kilstrom Theatre at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts through Feb. 22. It’s about a gunslinger named Godspeed, in 1865 right after slavery has just been abolished in Texas. She returns to Texas with vengeance on her mind and an unexpected discovery awaiting her. 

Horizon of Khufu: Journey in Ancient Egypt is running throughout 2026 (and maybe longer). The amazing VR experience takes visitors to (and inside) Egypt past and present, inside and outside.

Jazz Brunch at Stoke & Rye runs every Sunday from 9-11am at The Westin Riverfront. Enjoy live music by Kathy Morrow and a wide variety of food options. The price is $49/adults and $48 for kids ages 5-12. 

NEWS Local Jones has a refreshed dinner menu from Executive Chef Ian McKenzie. The new mean leans into modern American comfort food with regionally-sourced ingredients. Examples are the Parker House rolls with cultured butter, oysters on the half shell, lamb lollipops, dry-aged hanger steak, Colorado striped bass and vegetable-forward plates.

Lovers vs. Haters limited time cocktail menu at the Mining Exchange Hotel runs Feb. 8-14. Inspired by the love-hate relationship many people have with Valentine’s Day, Golden Hour will have a cocktail menu that guests can vote on over social media. One winner receives a complimentary stay.

NEWS MAKfam’s Lunar New Year collaboration dinner with Tsingtao beer tickets go on sale at noon, Feb. 2 for the Feb. 18 event. Learn more about the event itself below, under Feb. 18. 

NEWS Más Chido Tasting Menu Experience is available at three seatings (4pm, 6pm and 8pm) every Friday and Saturday (following special timing on Valentine’s Day weekend). Enjoy a 5-course meal while sitting up at the chef’s counter for an up-close view of the action in the kitchen. The menu, for $85/person includes seafood and land-based offerings. Add a mixed beverage pairing for $55 or zero-proof offerings for $45. Reservations are required and availability is limited.   

Mile High Beer Festival returns to Denver March 7 at Denargo Market. Tickets include unlimited sampling from more than 40 local breweries and a commemorative sample glass to keep. See who will take home awards in the categories of Best IPA, Lager, Sour, Wheat, Stout/Porter, Cider, Seasonal, N/A and Innovative beers.

NEWS MilkShake Factory launches its Strawberry Matcha Milkshake available Feb. 9-March 29 at participating locations. It features creamy housemade vanilla ice cream blended with sweetened matcha green tea, finished with a generous topping of MilkShake Factory’s housemade strawberry whipped cream.

Mo’Print (Month of Printmaking) through the Art Students League of Denver kicks off February 27 with events curated by Denver artist and instructor Deb Rosenbaum. Events include exhibits, a silent auction, demonstrations and open-studio time, all highlighting the art and accessibility of printmaking.

NEWS Pizza With Purpose launches Feb. 9-15 during which Longmont locations of Urban Field Pizza and Antonio’s Real New York Pizza, along with Rosalee’s Pizzeria, will donate $1 from every pepperoni or cheese pizza sold to Slice Out Hunger, a national nonprofit mobilizing the pizza community to fight food insecurity. Pizza With Purpose is a new Colorado nonprofit to raise funds for hunger-relief organizations through community events starting with this one all in response to the recent loss of government support for food-insecure families.

Snooze has new winter menu items including a French Toast Latte, Grilled Three-Cheese & Fire-Roasted Tomato Soup, Winter Whipped Cottage Cheese Bowl and the return of Sweet Potato Pancakes, one of their signature events.

The Great Gatsby by Colorado Ballet runs through Feb. 8. Based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, it’s a tale of love, ambition and betrayal set to choreography and a jazz-infused score. 

NEWS The Ramble Hotel has launched an Artist in Residence Program to support Colorado creatives and Denver’s arts scene in general. There will be a new artist each quarter (Ariana Barnstable has Q1) with exhibits, events and exclusive merchandise. Visitors and hotel guests will have the opportunity to get to know the artists and see them work up close.

February 1
Haykin Family Cider turns eight with an anniversary party from 4-8pm. They’ll have a special by-the-glass menu, bites from So Damn Gouda and plenty of sociability.

February 2
Arch Lift Viewing Party at La Vista Motel and El Piñon is a community event to see the new Colfax BRT station arch rise directly out front. Watch from the motel’s bar, patio and rooftop with music, drinks, and neighborhood businesses featured throughout the night. The first 30 guests will get a complimentary drink ticket. A DJ will be spinning tunes through the evening. 

February 4
Sunset Campfires with Caramelized Beers & S’Mores at New Terrain Brewing Co. involves heating up beer caramelizers (metal rods) in their wood burning fire pits to then place in beer for a few seconds to caramelize the sugars and change the flavor while the foam rises, resulting in a cold beer with hot foam and interesting contrast in textures. 

February 5
Spirit Hound Denver Cocktail Class includes two cocktails to drink, tips from the pros, the recipes and spirits tasting.
February 6
Kickoff Party for Goldens in Golden starts off a weekend of festivities hosted by The Golden Mill. The party from 5-9pm includes live music, live ice sculpting, pup cones, a charcuterie cart for dogs, adoptable dogs, raffle and more. 

Quarterly Wine Pairings Dinner at The Ponti inside the Denver Art Museum is a four-course dinner. Each wine and course will be explained in detail after a welcome toast by the chef. 

Westin Riverfront Après Ski Pop-up with Whispering Angel happens on Feb. 6 and 14 from 4-6pm. Stop by the Lobby Bar to sip a complimentary pour of Chateau d’Esclans Whispering Angel rose while snapping photos on the festive pink chairlift photo opp.

February 7
Après Party at Federales Tacos & Tequila in RiNo brings all the après ski vibes without the mountain driving. There’ll be Shotskis, an ice luge, s’mores kits by the firepit, custom trucker hats, a DJ plus Flecha Azul Blanco specials. Reservations are recommended.

Day of Darks Beer Festival returns to Wynkoop Brewing Company for the 13th year. It celebrates the season’s best dark beers with unlimited tastings from more than a dozen participating Colorado-based breweries. All ticket proceeds benefit the Movember Foundation.

El Milagro: Mural Celebration honoring artist David Ocelotl Garcia recognizes the newest mural in the RiNo ArtPark at Arkins Park. Created by the renowned artist, it draws inspiration from the story of Tepeyac and the importance of Clinica Tepeyac, founded in 1994, now called Tepeyac Community Health Center. There’ll be a live performance by Grupo Tlaloc drum and dance and tacos from Taconation. 

Goldens in Golden at The Golden Mill has the food hall opening at 8:30am with breakfast burritos, a campfire cocktail hot bar and Astro Coffee Van before heading to the Welcome Arch for the big photo opp. Afterword, it’s photo ops next to the Golden Retriever ice sculpture, pup cones, exclusive merch and heated, dog-friendly outdoor patios. 

Paws & Applause: A Drag Brunch benefits PawsCo, a 100% volunteer run rescue helping dogs and cats. Enjoy a sing-a-long drag brunch performing favorite love songs. There’ll be pitchers of mimosas too. 

Rhythms of the Cosmos, from The Denver Brass, takes the audience on a journey into rhythmic textures and expansive sound. The program will also feature the world premiere of “Guardians of Time” by local composer and The Denver Brass trumpeter, Sean Schafer Hennessy.

Romance on Tap at Fiction Beer is an author panel in which you meet local romance authors as they chat about love, storytelling and the inspiration behind their books. February 8 – Super Bowl Sunday
Federales Tacos & Tequila makes the Super Bowl an all-day affair starting with brunch (chilaquiles, breakfast torta and thick-cut bacon), then 14 TVs for the watch party in the afternoon. Enjoy game-day specials including $12 Grande Nachos and $20 beer buckets. Reservations are recommended.

February 17 – Lunar New Year
Fat Tuesday at Adrift, Tiki Style, invites guests to wear their best masque (or none) and enjoy frozen hurricanes and rum vieux carre’s, two drinks made popular in New Orleans.

Magna Kainan celebrates Lunar New Year with the first part of the evening in partnership with AAPI Culture Fest, the Denver Asian American Pacific Islander Commission and the Asian Roundtable of Colorado for a fundraiser celebration. The event is $50 per person and includes a meal and specialty drink with proceeds benefitting the 2026 AAPI Culture Fest; space can be reserved by visiting here. From 8-10 p.m., Magna is hosting a Lunar New Year Night Market. The dining room will host performances, live tunes from a DJ and vendors and delicious Filipino-inspired street food. Mardi Gras Party and Gumbo Cookoff returns to Keystone’s Warren Station. Local chefs prepare their take on the classic dish and guests purchase tasting tickets to try them. The winner takes home the People’s Choice Award. There will also be live music going on and more Fat Tuesday fun.

Olive & Finch and Little Finch’s Lunar New Year celebration celebrates the Year of the Horse by giving each guest a small red envelope containing a drink token to be redeemed on the next visit. Throughout February, roundup your tab at the register to serve the Asian Chamber Foundation’s work serving the AAPI community. 

Uchiko Cherry Creek officially opens in Cherry Creek North. The name means “child of Uchi” and is the counterpart to Uchi from James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole. Expect hearth-grilled plates like post oak grilled sea bass with brown butter dashi, four-times-seared Denver Steak, soft shell crab roll, Australian Westholme wagyu and hot rock experiences tableside. The restaurant is located in the former Ginny Williams Gallery and will have rotating art installations to preserve the location’s artistic roots.

February 18
MAKfam hosts a Lunar New Year collaboration dinner with Tsingtao in a reservation-only event featuring dishes that incorporate Tsingtao beer, specialty cocktails and festive surprises. The menu will include Tsingtao Pork Belly Ssam, whole lobster and more. All guests will receive red envelopes containing a variety of gifts and swag. A few will win Golden Tickets worth up to $100 off their next visit. 

February 19
Traditional Lion Dance performance at Ace Eat Serve is part of their Lunar New Year celebrations throughout the month. The performance, at 7pm, by Ascent Lion Dance, brings energy, luck and prosperity to the celebration. Learn more about the month-long event in our Ongoing section, above.

February 20
8 Seasons: Widdershins is part escape room and part immersive theater. Enter Forcythia’s Odyssey, a Celtic-inspired myth about a Queer witch’s journey to connect with the land and herself while evading Witch Hungers. The audience gets to directly interact with the characters, solve mysteries and advance the story. The event runs Feb. 20-22 and different locations.

Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra presents Love Songs from the Ladies of Jazz with vocalist Tatiana LadyMay Mayfield on Feb. 20 in Lafayette and Feb. 22 in Denver. Mayfield performs some of the greats from female jazz legends including Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Billie Holiday and more. 

Tamayo by Chef Richard Sandoval celebrates National Margarita Day Feb. 20-22 with the Sotol Margarita, made with Nocheluna sotol, watermelon puree, jalapeno syrup and fresh lime juice. Shaken and served over ice, it’s finished with a Tajin rim and dehydrated lime wheel.

February 21

Polaris Plunge benefitting Angels of America’s Fallen, includes a welcome drink and plunge in a pool heated to 82 degrees. All proceeds go directly to the organization.

Local Jones Sunday Supper series kicks off. The family-style dinner is built around a featured ingredient, rosemary. Guests will share a long table with neighbors and friends as executive chef Ian Mckenzie presents a curated menu with rosemary in every course. There’ll be citrus-kissed roasted chicken, honey-rosemary Yukon potatoes, blood orange upside-down cake with rosemary-lavender buttercream and pine nut brittle and more. Tickets are $60/person.

Mister Oso celebrates National Margarita Day with margs by the class or pitcher plus a frozen strawberry margarita with edible glitter in a souvenir bear mug while supplies last. Enjoy it with Mister Oso’s Gordo Crunch, a combo of hard- and soft-shell tortillas, chorizo verde, special sauce, shredded lettuce and cheese, available throughout the day (normally a happy hour offering only).

February 24
Mexican Chef Summit is hosted by Chef Troy Guard at Guard and Grace, bringing together a lineup of chefs from across the country for a six-course collaborative dinner celebrating the regional diversity of Mexican cuisine. The chefs are: Johnny Curiel, Rick Bayless, Maria Mazon, Hugo Ortega, Sean Yontz, and Chris “Cactus” Douglas. The event’s proceeds benefit Roundup River Ranch.

February 25
STARGAZE under the February sky at Civic Center Park with AstroTours. The guided night sky experience focuses on the many celestial objects that show up best in city skies, viewed through high-powered telescopes. Enjoy drinks and empanadas from Karun Cafe before or after. Space is limited and tickets have been known to sell out. 

February 27
CSA Fair, through Slow Food Boulder County, is an opportunity to meet local farmers, learn about Community Supported Agriculture and how to choose the perfect share for your family.

Polaris Pour: A Night with Chopin (Chopin Vodka, that is), showcases the various flavor profiles of the vodka. Guests choose a preferred sushi roll to then enjoy alongside their vodka.

February 28
Purim Drag Queen Bingo at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center is a fun and slightly naughty annual tradition. Enjoy a cast of local drag queens for an evening of bingo, drinks, a costume contest and jokes about Adam and (St)Eve in the salute to The Garden of Eden. Heavy appetizers are included in the ticket price.

The Langston Hughes Project: Ask Your Mama (12 Moods for Jazz) is a multimedia jazz concert featuring the Ron McCurdy Quartet. The performance features spoken word, music, history, visual arts and poetry, bringing Langston Hughes’ jazz poem to life.

Thrifts & ‘Tinis is hosted by Poka Lola Social Club in partnership with The Curio Cabinet Magazine.
