Summertime in Colorado is awesome-time! The flowers and trees are flourishing, the markets are plentiful, restaurants unveil light, fresh menus, concerts in the park start and there’s a new, fun energy just waiting to flow through all of us. Ongoing events In Good Taste in June

$49 June Special at The Fort, available through June 30, is a 12-ounce NY strip steak with their signature char crust of green chile “Gonzales” style, served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. 

Backyard Sessions at Stanley Marketplace take place the 2nd Sunday of the month through September on the West Lawn. The community event includes a market with vendors, seasonal produce, live bands, a maker’s market, dancing and kids activities including a jumpy castle and splash pads. 

News Bonnie Brae Ice Cream and 7Cellars Wine (John Elway’s brand) have partnered to create three flavors: Cabernet Nutella Bliss, Blueberry Noir Indulgence and Chardonnay Apricot Dream. 

We’re Going, Are You? Broadway’s Next Hit Musical is an improvisational show playing June 12-30 at the Garner Galleria Theatre. Every night is a fresh show with audience participation to help create an award-winning song by the end of the evening. 

News BrewYOB is an opportunity through FlyteCo Brewing that lets groups be the brewer-for-a-day at the Central Park location, working alongside FlyteCo’s brewmaster. After the collaborative brew day, in three to five weeks, the beer is ready to be on tap for a special event. If there’s any left, it’s available to the public on tap. Think bachelor or bachelorette gatherings, corporate parties and more. 

Butterflies are back at Chatfield Farms, daily through Sept. 2. The seasonal habitat butterfly house is home to hundreds of native butterflies including swallowtails, monarchs, mourning cloaks and painted ladies. It’s included in general Chatfield Farms admission. 

Central City Opera’s 2024 Summer Festival starts June 29, running through August 24 with three productions, “Pirates of Penzance,” “The Girl of the Golden West,” and “Street Scene.”

Cherry Creek North Summer Concert Series runs every other Saturday in June, (6/1, 6/15 and 6/29) in a unique setup on Fillmore Plaza that includes a concert stage, lounge area and bar. The series is in partnership with the nonprofit Athena Project which “empowers women through the arts and creates a world where women’s voices are powerfully expressed and recognized for artistic merit in the community.”

City Park Jazz begins for the summer, running every Sunday at City Park with free music and a variety of food trucks. Bring something to sit on, get ready to listen to the music and bring a few bucks to put in the bucket to help pay for this series of 30+ years. 

News Citizen Rail restaurant is closing on June 29 and will transition to AJAX Downtown by both restaurants’ parent company, Aspen One. This will be the sister restaurant to AJAX Tavern in Aspen and will feature contemporary, upscale, contemporary cuisine in an urban setting. 

News Colorado Brewers Guild tickets are on sale now for the July 13 event at Riverside Park in Salida where craft beer from more than 65 Colorado breweries will be offered. 

Colorado Shakespeare Festival begins, with performances of Macbeth on various dates throughout June. The season goes through July with Macbeth, Merry Wives of Windsor and Arden of Faversham. 

News Denver Burger Battle tickets are on sale now for the August 1 event. This year, 19 area restaurants battle to be crowned “best burger,” a designation they celebrate throughout the year. Enjoy samplings of burgers, sides, desserts, beer, wine and cocktails plus live music. 

 

Denver Fringe Festival celebrates its fifth year, June 6-9, with more than 60 shows at venues in RiNo, Five Points, and other neighborhoods. See diverse performing arts presentations that are inclusive and uncensored.

Been There, Loved That Denver Greek Festival runs June 7-9. We’ve been going since we were kids! Enjoy Greek culture, food, music, dancing, shopping and activities for all ages.

News Denver Portal Pass is an upgraded experience to Convergence Station at Meow Wolf Denver. At 30% off through June 20, the pass provides unlimited General Admission, endless Adulti-Verse access for those 21+, early access to purchase tickets to special events, 10% discounts to food and merch and surprise perks.

We’re Going, Are You? Destination Oaxaca debuts at Tamayo and Toro restaurants with a specialty menu available June 18-July 28. Look for items including Pork Mole Negro and drinks including the Alebrije Paloma cocktail. 

News Eat’Ya Pizza has opened on the 16th Street Mall. The Roman-style pizzeria is from the creators of Rooted Craft Kitchen and Pig & Tiger and has a nostalgic 90s vibe for their square pizzas, Italian sandwiches, soft-serve cannoli ice cream and more.  

Evenings al Fresco has talented musicians from Swallow Hill Music positioned in various areas of the Denver Botanic Gardens for an unamplified, blossoming experience. Bring a picnic and gather with friends and family. Tickets must be purchased in advance. The program runs various dates in June and July.

Film on the Field runs the last Saturday of the month through September at dusk. Watch a movie under the stars, sponsored by VisitAurora, on a giant, inflatable 28’ screen. In June, the movie is Wakanda Forever. Bring a picnic or pick up food and drink at Stanley Marketplace. 

FoCo Food Truck Rally offers up a variety of food trucks plus free live music every Tuesday in Ft. Collins’ City Park from 5:30pm – disk.

Fried Chicken & Bubbles are available every Wednesday and Thursday at Noisette. Their take includes fried chicken wings stuffed with chicken sausage sitting on chive garlic aioli and topped with caviar.

News Gayle’s Texas BBQ is now open at Milepost Zero serving barbecue favorites including brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken wings and green chili sausage. The company is leg by Chef Blaine Baggao, one of the top pitmasters in the country. 

News Golden Hour opens in June, the elegant lobby bar inside the Mining Exchange Hotel in Colorado Springs. Inspired by the gilded era, the bar celebrates the time of day when the mountain light hits just right. Expect cocktails, spirits, wine and local beers all meant to pair with artisanal bites. There will also be Live Jazz Thursdays in partnership with music curator, Dizzy Charlie’s.

News Golden Moon Distillery is closing and we’re really sad to hear this. We enjoyed the experience of being there, especially their absinthe and creme de violette.

June Alley Soundscapes live music series at Dairy Block includes weekend concerts by local musicians including NameBackwards, Antonio Lopez Band, DZIRAE GOLD, and Many Mountains.

Been There, Loved That Lob Denver is open with nine rounds of a fun, easy-to-learn game that’s a twist on bocce and golf. The fun is matched by the good food and drink. Stay tuned for our article about it.

Old Hickory Master French Wine Classes and Cocktail Classes happen throughout June, July and August on select dates at Gaylord Rockies Resort. 

NEWS On Tap with KBCO tickets for their August 10 live music event at the Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton is holding a ticket lottery June 3-10 to prevent scalping and ticket bots. The performance benefiting Project C.U.R.E features Gary Clark Jr. along with John Vincent III and Eddie 9V.

Orange Dreamsicle Milkshake, with vanilla soft-serve and orange sherbert, topped with orange slices, whipped cream and an Orange Dream popsicle, is available throughout June at Slater’s 50/50 Denver. Booze it up with North 44 Nectarine Vodka.

News  Osaké Steak and Sushi in Salida announces the launch of its Asian-inspired summer cocktail menu featuring blends of exotic ingredients. One example is the Salida Fever with tamarind juice, agave, lime juice and Osake’s signature spicy tequila infused with Thai chilis and jalapenos.

Been There, Loved That Pancho & Jane has opened in Golden. From the team behind The Eddy Taproom & Hotel, the menu offers scratch-made tacos, plates, appetizers, desserts and an extensive bar menu. Stay tuned for our article about it but meanwhile, don’t miss the guacamole with pistachios and lamb birria quesadilla, washed down with their paloma cocktail. News Parkway Food Hall, Longmont’s first food hall, has opened in their 16,000 square-foot space with a pizzeria, whole hog barbecue, Japanese street food, an Indian-Thai concept, gelato bars and more, including special events such as Goat Yoga and more.

People + Produce at Belleview Station runs every Sunday from June 2-October 13 with 50+ Colorado makers and craft vendors, including locally- and -sustainably-grown produce, baked goods and more. 

Rockies Home Game Specials can be had at Kachina Cantina including $3 cauliflower, carnitas and chicken tacos on corn tortillas. Or $12 Margarita on the Rockies with butterfly pea-infused tequila, lima and agave. 

News Shiki Dreams, the permanent exhibit by the local immersive arts company, Prismajic, is still going strong with its calming experience through sight, smell, touch, hearing and tasting (the latter comes in the form of The Night Owls Bar with craft cocktails and mocktails, light fare and live performances all at Colorado Mills Mall. 

News Snow Capped Cider Taproom & Wine Bar opens this month with 16 taps of Colorado Cider, 14 canned products and 54 bottles of French and English Cider in addition to a variety of curated Colorado wines. Spirit Guides: Fantastical Creatures from the Workshop of Jacobo and María Ángeles are on display at the Denver Botanic Gardens at York Street. The large, fantastical creatures that are brightly colored and full of patterns, depict imaginary hybrid animals that act as spirit guides and astrological embodiments of human character. See them placed throughout the Gardens.

News Spritz is the rooftop pool/cabanas/pool bar/game room available to guests at the Sheraton Denver Downtown. They have a revamped menu that includes salads, a Spritz Burger, wraps, a kids menu and more. They have a Stay & Play Package featuring their Top Golf Swing Suite and a Denver Zoo Experience.

Summer Friday Rooftop Yoga Series at The Golden Mill is available every Friday morning through August 30. Intended for all levels, the hour-long class includes a post-practice drink for $20.

News Summer Spritz Garden at The Source is a pop-up cocktail lounge open on the top of RiNo’s The Source Hotel + Market Hall, in partnership with Aperol, through July 21. Enjoy bubbly Aperol Spritz cocktails, with colorful seasonal decor and new summer menu items. 

Summertime Saturdays at Yardbird include the Old School Cool Vintage Market on the last Saturday of every month through summer. Enjoy shopping plus food and drink. 

Sunset Saturdays are back at Bookcliff Vineyard’s Palisade tasting room with weekly live music, local food trucks, wine-inspired cocktails and beautiful sunsets.

Ta-Co has three new salads for the summer season at their location in Milepost Zero including a House Salad, Spinach-Avo Caesar Salad with orange, roasted pineapple, strawberries, cashews, feta, tortilla strips and a poppy seed champagne vinaigrette. 

Been There, Loved That The Cherry Cricket now offers a new way to enjoy their burgers – bunless. Get any of their burger offerings and add on any toppings from the list but, instead of getting it on a bun, it comes on a bed of lettuce with diced tomato, pickle slices, steak fries and the signature Cricket sauce.

News The Colorado Club is open, a downtown Boulder neighborhood saloon and grill reflecting the American West. It’s by the team that includes Corrida, Bellota and C Burger. Menu highlights included Baked Brie, The Colorado Club, Shrimp & Grits, Steak & Fries, and Double Fudge Brownie Sundae. 

News The Denver Trolley is back for another season, departing Thursday-Monday from Confluence Park at the REI. It goes along the west bank of the South Platte River, down to Lower Colfax Ave. and back for a narrated 25-minute ride. 

The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert & Sullivan, is performed June 7-23 at the Lakewood Cultural Center. The musical has witty humor, memorable characters and popular numbers as “Major-General’s Song,” “Poor Wand’ring One.”

The Post Chicken & Beer’s Battle of the Chicken Biscuit is a delicious, two-month-long bracket-style competition between nine new chicken biscuits developed by The Post chefs. Launching June 10 and running through July 28, Post chefs will battle it out with their own unique takes on signature biscuit sliders and diners will vote. The winner will be the Post’s featured dish at the Chicken Fight Festival in August.

News Trailborn Rocky Mountains has opened in Estes Park with a cafe, bar and restaurant on-site, complimentary bikes, seasonal outdoor pool, activities for kids, pet-friendly rooms and a communal firepit.   

Tuesday Night Summer Socials, put on by the Center for Colorado Women’s History, happens every Tuesday in June, July and August with live music, poetry, admission to the Center and socializing. 

News Two Hands, an Australian-style restaurant serving health-conscious, forward-thinking food and drink, opens later this month for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stay tuned for more information. 

Urban Market at Union Station offers an eclectic mix of local arts and crafts sold directly the artists plus live music and entertainment. The event runs June 1-2, 15-16, July 6-7 and Aug. 10-11, 17-18.

Vanity & Vice: American Art Deco exhibition explores dynamic design that happened during the rebellious years of 1920-1933. Learn about Prohibition and Art Deco through perfume atomizers, lamps, vanity sets, cocktail shakers, ashtrays and more. The exhibit runs through Jan. 12 at the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art. 

World Class, a bartending competition presented by the United States Bartenders’ Guild, is coming to Denver, June 1-4 where 30 regional mixologists will compete in the U.S. Finals for the title of 2024 U.S. Bartender of the Year. In celebration, World Class is hosting a Cocktail Festival serving specialty drinks at various bars and restaurants in Denver.

Black Box Bakery, sponsor of the Edgewater Pride Parade, is featuring rainbow croissants throughout June, Fruity Pebbles.

Blockwide Pride is a series of festivities and offerings throughout June at Dairy Block including a Drag Queen Show June 22, a Pride Cotton Candy & Macaron Flight at Blanchard Family Wines; youth-friendly Drag Queen Bingo June 16; Make It Work Ru Paul Drag Race Trivia June 20 and Pop Diva Karaoke June 26; and Rainbow Croissants Unicorn Cakes and other Pride-themed baked goods from LoDough Bakery with donations from every purchase going to One Colorado. 

Butterfly Pavilion’s Adult Pride Night for ages 18+ has local drag performers dressed in invertebrate-inspired costumes at each of the exhibits while learning from animal experts. Enjoy nibbles and discover ways to support conservation efforts.

Denver Pride Official Sober Party, June 22 at The Phoenix, prioritizes wellness and fun with an 18+ event with a DJ, drag queen performances, glitter and body art, dancing and N/A craft beverages.

Coors Light Denver Pride Parade is June 23 starting at 9:30am heading west on Colfax, running 14 blocks ending near Civic Center Park, where the celebrations continue at day two of Denver PrideFest (see below).

Denver PrideFest, June 22-23, commemorates the 50th anniversary in a celebration of love, diversity and equality. The two-day festival includes the Pride 5K on the 22nd, followed by the Parade and event in Civic Center Park with 250+ exhibitors, 30 food vendors and live performances. 

Disco Drag Dinner at The Greenwich, June 20, includes three courses, a specialty cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage and performances by Queen Stella Diver and her friends: All Spice, Dany Wynters, and Valencia. Space is limited and tickets are required.

Drag Me to Pride is a flight of four, rainbow-colored mimosas for $19 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting The Trevor Project. Options include red (pomegranate juice), green (Matcha lemonade) and blue (blue citrus.)

Flight Club celebrates with a Pride Month Cocktail and Rainbow Cake. The cocktail includes Empress Gin, Ketel One Grapefruit Rose, hibiscus, lemon, egg white and edible glitter, with a festive Pride cocktail topper. All proceeds go to The Center on Colfax.

Gender Euphoria: An Unapologetically Queer Variety Show takes place at The Clocktower Cabaret with trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming artists taking center stage.

Pancakes, Parades and Philanthropy is Snooze A.M. Eatery’s way of celebrating Pride throughout the month with colorful pancakes filled with white chocolate chips and all-natural rainbow sprinkles, topped with sweet cream drizzle, whipped mascarpone and, of course, more sprinkles. 25 cents from each Pride cake sold will benefit Snooze’s continue partnership with The Trevor Project to support the life-affirming and life-saving mission to end suicide among LGBTQ young people, and Snooze has committed to a minimum donation of $25,000. Pattie Gonia, acclaimed drag queen and environmentalist presents SAVE HER!, a drag show for the planet. Pattie and a cast of local drag queens and kings present a night of environmental-inspired performances. 

Pink Pony Pride Cocktail Month at Leven Deli Co. offers up a special cocktail in June made with vodka, house-made lemon syrup, lavender, soda water and a dash of edible glitter, $1 from each cocktail sold will benefit The Center on Colfax, a safe and welcoming space for Denver’s LGBTQ+ community.

Pride on the Patio is a collection of events at Ace Eat Serve including Let’s Have a Tiki June 8, Pride Flash Tattoo June 15 and Drag Trivia Night June 26. See the full lineup in the link. Events raise funds for the Rainbow Alley Program which helps LGBTQ+ youth, ages 10-17 and their allies find support for health services, life-skill building and more.

Queer Cookout, June 16, is the third annual event at the Sie FilmCenter celebrating all things Pride and LGBTQIA+ for a family-friendly event featuring vendors, resources, food and games.

Queer Frontier – Conflicting Ideas of Gender and Sexuality in the Old West will be held June 14 at the American Museum of Western Art.

You Do You Beer Launch at The Post Chicken & Beer features a mango guava fruited sour ale brewed onsite and kettle-soured. June 1
Kachina Canines Party means brunch food and drink for humans, including the popular frozen margarita flight, as well as homemade dog treats for your pups who are welcome on the patio.

Outside Festival launches in Denver, a two-day festival intended to “inspire, educate and get more people to experience what the outdoors has to offer.” We can certainly get behind that. Enjoy activations, films, info, and music by local and national acts.

Pride Party at The Denver Central Market parking lot has pop-up shopping from local vendors, live music, a Drag Show, food and drink. 

Rockin’Block offers up the combination of concerts by Crystal Visions and Bad Colorado (Fleetwood Mac and Bad Company tribute bands), followed by the 1975 movie, Jaws. 

Saturday Night BAZAAR: Platte Street takes over the newly-revitalized community plaza and the Highland Bridge esplanade to feature more than 50 Colorado makers, plus food trucks, street food vendors and DJ.

Sunday Sundae is a fundraiser for the Art Students League of Denver with tickets getting you a handmade ceramic bowl plus all the Sweet Action ice cream and toppings that can fit inside. Then compete in the “Clay Olympics” or relax in the courtyard.

YWCA Boulder County Dancing with Boulder Stars is a dance competition where community members are paired with professional dance instructors to perform live.

June 6
Golden Hour, the elegant lobby bar in the Mining Exchange Hotel in Colorado Springs, officially opens. The concept is to embrace the time of day when the mountain light hit just right. Rose La La La, a Celebration of Colorado Rose, is a partnership between Carboy Winery and Bookcliff Vineyards, with the best roses from Colorado wineries.

Uncorked 2024 is an evening celebrating art and creativity including music, wine and spirits tastings, Mediterranean cuisine and more for this fundraising event for the Denver Art Museum’s accessibility initiatives. 

June 8
Artisan Markets at The Shops at Northfield feature 50-70 local vendors offering jewelry, photography, soaps, clothing, artisanal food products and more.

Popup Denver Maker Market happens June 8, 22 and July 14 with unique retail concepts and activations. 

Rosé Patio Party returns to Guard & Grace for its 10th year. Dress inn pink and white and enjoy an assortment of light bites and rose samples with proceeds benefiting The Women’s Wine Guild of Colorado.

Smash Fine Arts Festival returns for two weekends this summer. In June, it’s the 8th-9th in Cherry Creek North, with top national artists plus music performances.

Chef Showdown with Chase Devitt (BriDer, Boychik) and Tommy Lee (Uncle, Hop Alley) will be going head-to-head in a friendly “Chopped” style cooking competition in celebration of Spinelli’s Market’s newest location at 21 Fitzsimons in Aurora. Come hungry and contribute to a great cause! 50% of market proceeds from the day will be donated to Children’s Hospital Colorado. 

Denver BAZAAR at Larimer Square holds a pop-up market with 40+ craft vendors and makers selling a variety of local goods. Prefare Meals will have samples from their locally-sourced and -packaged at -home meal kits too.

Puppies on the Patio Event at Spice Trade Brewery partners with Denver Art Days and Soul Dog Rescue to pair rescue pets looking for forever homes with their new families. For every five animals adopted, Spice Trade will do a taproom-wide beer shot toast. There will also be a Paint Your Pet event with Denver Art Days that is $60 (donation included) and available for purchase here.

June 11
Approachable Outdoors 3rd annual Benefit Bash takes place at Los Chingones in RiNo. created by Fox31 Meteorologist Kylie Bearse to encourage others to enjoy the positive benefits of nature and take the intimidation out of getting outdoors, features a summer merch launch, raffle featuring outdoor prizes, live music, cocktails and appetizers. All proceeds are donated to the Morgan Adams Foundation which raises money for children’s cancer research in Colorado.

Two Truths & A Lie Mixology Experience at B&GC is a three-cocktail class taught by the pros while students attempt to spot the mocktail among the classic cocktails. The class includes two cocktails and one mocktail paired with light bites. There are two class times available.

June 15
12th Annual Lake Dillon Beer Festival offers up views, tunes and craft beer from more than 20 Colorado craft breweries. Tickets include unlimited tastings and a commemorative glass. Non-drinking tickets are available for purchase too.

Juneteenth Music Festival runs through June 16 in the historic Five Points neighborhood, with more than 200 vendors and free live music. Juneteenth honors the day when the last of the nation’s enslaved people finally learned of their freedom two years after President Lincoln emancipated enslaved Africans in America. The headlining performance is by Bow Wow.

Le Diner en Blanc, the popular Parisian-inspired pop-up picnic returns to Denver for its second edition. Marked by an all-white dress code, the secret dinner party will be held in one of the city’s best-known public spaces with the location kept a secret until one hour before it starts.  

National Lobster Day at Water Grill includes Lobster Bisque, Australian Spiny Lobster, a New England Lobster Roll and Spicy Lobster Sushi Roll.

Flatirons Sound Music Festival in Chautauqua Park has musical performances from local Colorado bands, a beer garden, a variety of food trucks, and a local artisan market featuring a variety of Colorado vendors.

Hangin’ N Slangin’ Markets are vintage thrift markets in RiNo that happen on the second Saturday and third Sunday (June 30). Shop vendors and enjoy good food and music.

June 17
Blanco Cocina + Cantina launches Nacho + Margarita Monday which will happen every Monday, all day. Get Nachos Con Queso Blanco with a Classic Margarita Pitcher for $25 (normally $80). Stick around for dinner to try some of their new Sonoran-style dishes for summer including Spicy Mango Ceviche and Sweet Corn Tamale.  

June 18
A Night with Chef Thomas Keller is hosted by Frasca Food and Wine to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The chef/proprietor of The French Laundry and Per Se is Frasca founder/Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey’s mentor. For one night, the two will reunite for a collaborative menu. 

All You Can Eat Sushi Day at Sushi-Rama at their RiNo location. $50 gets you as many plates off the belt as you can handle. There is a 90-minute limit so don’t think about camping out. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Black Pride Colorado in honor of Pride month and Juneteenth.

American Ninja Warrior opens its second Adventure Park in Denver. The place is inspired by the hit NBC show and lets participants of all ages and abilities to unleash their “inner ninja” using their 37,000 square foot facility. Expect Monkey Swings, Spider Walls, Tilting Logs and the Warped Wall plus an obstacle course and arcade. There will also be a full-service kitchen. 

June 19
Bourbon Dinner at Yardbird, with Garrison Brothers, will be led by the founder of the distillery in person. The multi-course, elevated dinner will have bourbon pairings. 

Culinary Dropout launches its Dropout Duo, every Wednesday and Thursday, for $30. That includes The Slicer, a plate of chef-selected meats, cheeses and snacks, along with two cocktails of the guest’s choice. That’s 50% of the usual deal. Stick around for dinner to try some of the new dishes for summer including Asian Crunch Salad, Peking Duck & Shrimp Fried Rice and Chicken Cacio e Pepe.

National Martini Day is honored at Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar in Boulder and Glendale with fanciful variations at each location. Glendale offers the Elite Martini that includes a scoop of caviar while the Boulder location offers half-pours of martinis so guests can “tinimix and match”. 

Pancho Poncho Mezcal + Molcajete celebrates their soft launch. Formerly Logan Street Restaurant, they’ve changed their concept but are in the same location. Their grand opening will be July 13. The project is by the team behind Angelo’s Taverna & Carboy Winery (the latter of which will be located next door to Pancho Poncho). For those, like us, who were fans of Benny’s which was located down the street (and had THE best steak burrito ever!), we’re happy to see a Mexican restaurant return to the area. 

June 20
Fiesta de Pacha Luna is the next installment of the Summer Sunset series at Corrida with a theme of “Ibiza Nights.” enjoy all-you-can-eat-and-drink from assorted food stations and beverage presentations. Then dance the night away with world-renowned Spanish musical artist DJ Tatiana and live performances from aerial and fire dancers. 

Moovers and Shakers Cocktail Competition at the Dairy Arts Center is an annual event with mixologists from some of Boulder’s top restaurants, serving up cocktails featuring Boulder Spirits Gin. Guests get a souvenir glass, samples of cocktails and accompanying small bites plus the opportunity to vote for their favorites. 

RARE Steak Championship returns with steak and drinks from some of Denver’s top restaurants. 

Solstice Soiree Dinner welcomes summer and Chef Richard Sandoval back to Vail Valley at Stoke & Rye at The Westin Riverfront. The dinner features five courses highlighting dishes from the new summer menu, each paired with a curated selection of cocktails and wine.

June 21
First Day of Summer Pink Party at La Bouche Wine Bar brings rosé flights + featured rosé wines, seasonal bites), and DJ Terry Rose. Remember to wear pink.  

Rowdy Poppy, floral designers and micro-farmers, celebrate the opening of their first real-life studio. For those who have enjoyed them at various events, this is a super-cool thing. They will have music, food and drink and flowers, of course. RSVP here.

Vino & Vinyl at the MCA Denver celebrates the summer solstice with a curated wine tasting from Ethica Wines plus tunes from Fancy Matthew spinning records. There’ll be a chance to win prizes too.

Bacon & Bourbon Festival runs through June 23 in Keystone. Enjoy bacon and bourbon tasting and pairing plus twelve rock bands playing throughout the Festival. There’ll also be beer, a variety of foods and kid-centric activities.

Cherry Blossom Festival in Sakura Square, Jan. 22-23, is an annual favorite festival with taiko drumming, Japanese artwork, sake, food and other ways to explore Asian culture.

 Edgewater Music Festival features music and barbecue to benefit affordable housing programs. 

Juneteenth Celebration in Longmont is free to the public and includes a performance by Grammy award-winning artist Chrisette Michele. There will also be DJ tunes throughout the day, food options from local food trucks and a variety of offerings from local vendors.

Rolling Through RiNo Skate Competition honors “Go Skate Day” on June 21 as well as RiNo Pride. See live painting of 8X8 walls in the Art District, a “Best of the Block” tasting competition, local vendors and food. The grand finale is the skate competition with ramps, rails and a halfpipe. 

WeldWerks + Friends Summer Market includes fresh beer from six breweries, the release of the Medianoche, brewery tours and goods from local vendors.

Colfax Cares combines SAME Cafe, Division West and The Tonsorium to support those experiencing homelessness. Division West accepts donations of lightly loved items from customers and members of the community, and then distributes them to unhoused neighbors, giving them the opportunity to choose their own pair of shoes, fresh socks, outfit and baby wipes to stay fresh. The Tonsorium will also be providing haircuts and SAME Cafe will be handing out free meal cards. 

Full-Fish Ceviche is served, upon request, to celebrate National ceviche Day at Water Grill. The secret, off-menu dish is a unique combo of fresh veggies and raw fish, cured in fresh citrus juices. The restaurant is one of the only ones utilizing the full fish for plating. 

June 29
Artist on the Rise series concert features Rebecca Hartt, Denver singer and songwriter. Hartt will play a free concert in the Dairy Block Alley performing her blend of R&B, pop, soul and alternative music. 

Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra presents The Ladies of Soul with Tatiana LadyMay Mayfield. The evening includes soul, funk and R&B favorites from artists including Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and others.
